WHAT I DO

Dailies

  • Rushes synced, grouped and in scene bins before the editor starts the day

  • Ingest, backup, sync, grouping, multicam and string-outs

  • Metadata checked against DIT and continuity reports

  • Liaison with the DIT and post house on delivery and formats

Turnovers

  • Turnovers checked before they leave the cutting room

  • AAF, EDL, XML and OMF to sound, online, grade and VFX

  • Change lists, online lists, music cue sheets and ADR lists

Cutting Room

  • Exports and viewing links for producers and execs (Pix, Frame.io)

  • Avid and Premiere projects kept in step for two editors

  • Project set-up on Avid NEXIS and NAS

  • Archiving at wrap

VFX and QC

  • VFX tracked from turnover to the DI, with the latest shots in the cut

  • QC of 3D, Dolby Vision and IMAX versions

  • Netflix deliverables

  • Chinese and English subtitle files from translators' scripts
