Assistant editor from Hong Kong, now in London.

I studied post-production at Hong Kong Baptist University, then worked as a sound intern and a freelance VFX assistant. My first feature as an assistant editor was Operation Mekong (2016).

Since then I've worked on features, drama series and documentary, much of it VFX-heavy, on Avid Media Composer and Premiere Pro. I've also cut episodes and scenes as an editor, which helps me prepare material the way editors want it.

In Hong Kong I was often the only assistant on a project. UK high-end TV runs larger cutting rooms, with their own routines from dailies to delivery. I want to learn those routines properly, from the people who run them, so I'm starting as a 2nd Assistant Editor, happy on dailies, nights or wherever the cutting room needs me. I've settled in London and plan to stay in UK cutting rooms for the long term.
